ARP : Arts Research Practice
ARP : Arts Research Practice is an interdisciplinary research cluster hosted by the School of Arts at Oxford Brookes University.
ARP fosters practice and performance led research processes alongside critical engagement with creative practices and curatorial strategies. ARP brings together researchers from the fields of Architecture, Drama, Film Studies, Art and Design, Music, and Technology supporting and enriching the interdisciplinary activities of the practice-based research units situated in the School of Arts including:

Ongoing research projects include You Are Here! convened by Paul Whitty which aims to investigate approaches to the use of site, location, and context in practice-based research. Contributors to the project include Cressida Brown from Offstage Theatre, David Prior from Liminal, co-creators of The Fragmented Orchestra Jane Grant and John Matthias, Sound Artist Ray Lee, Artist Hayley Newman and founder of London Sound Survey Ian Rawes.
