This course is designed for beginners who would like to develop a better understanding of Chinese Language and Culture which will facilitate their day-to-day work or enhance their employability. The course will focus on listening and speaking skills, and learners will develop conversational phrases and sentences useful in a business environment. Topics include doing business in China, greetings, business introductions, meetings, entertainment such as meals, travel, making appointments, shopping, and money.
|On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

|Taught by: Jing Fang|
Jing Fang graduated from Beijing Normal University and the University of Edinburgh. She has been engaged in teaching Chinese literature and language, and teaching Chinese as a foreign language, for over 30 years. She is a Senior Adviser to Hanban and used to teach at the University of International Business and Economics (Beijing) and the University of Edinburgh. Since 2000 she has taught at the University of Oxford.
