The Art Experience

The Art Experience

This hands-on practical course introduces you to a range of drawing approaches and practical applied art techniques to broaden your knowledge of art.

Pencil life drawing

Treat yourself to a fantastic week and create something special. Enjoy a range of projects from life drawing to printmaking, drawing on location to working with clay.

This course is taught by Kat Ward, Associate lecturer at Brookes University with a background in commercial illustration and design. Classes are run with a low ratio of staff to students – approximately one tutor for every 10 students, which allows for in-depth learning and development. This course is suitable for the complete novice or the more experienced artist who wishes to hone or add to existing skills. By the end of the course, you will have produced a range of work including life drawings, ceramic designs, printmaking and make your own sketchbook to work into during the course.

This course is perfect to build on your creative skills or simply explore the possibilities within different art forms, whether you’re considering applying to do a further art course or simply want inspiration for your own creative practice.
