Impressive rankings for Publishing and Fine Art in The Guardian 2018 University League Tables

The recently published Guardian 2018 University League Tables rank Publishing at Oxford Brookes third out of sixty one universities and Fine Art fourth out of seventy six universities.

This high rank for publishing reflects the National Student Survey results in which 97% of students said they were ‘satisfied with teaching’, this is the highest score achieved by any institution teaching this subject. The Oxford International Centre for Publishing, OICP, continues to develop its reputation as a centre of excellence in higher education.

Fine Art at Oxford Brookes ranks fourth with an impressive 93% of students saying they were satisfied with teaching and 85% of students satisfied with the course and staff feedback. Recent student and graduate student successes include Jemima Hall winning the Batsford Prize for fine art, and Heidi Broad winning the prestigious QEST scholarship to study painting at The Florence Academy of Art.

“Our impressive high rankings for publishing and fine art in these league tables is testament to the expertise, hard work and dedication of our staff and students.”
