I chose to study at Oxford Brookes University because I wanted to work within an International Artistic Community.
During my MA I have had excellent support from the technicians and within a short period of time, I could network and collaborate with most of the art venues in Oxford.
The research culture here is unique because it is situated in a city with extraordinary artistic archives and it is very close to London.
My PhD tutors are very supportive and have been very generous with their time. They have always been willing to listen to me. For an art researcher this is very important because it impacts the development of your research career.
With the support of my department I have travelled within the United Kingdom, Finland and Mexico and have met some of the most extraordinary Live and Performance Art Artists. Nowadays the university is supporting me to bring some of these artists to visit the School of Arts.
