In this course, the tutor will introduce different aspects of Chinese culture, and the topics over the 10 weeks include: everyday philosophy of life, social etiquette, ways of doing business, gardens, music, tea, porcelain, art, food and health care, and folk arts. The course is lively in its approach and will from vary talks, videos, and discussion of the topics.

|Taught by: Mei Di|
Mei Di holds master’s degrees in English linguistics and business administration from Soochow University and Peking University in China. She is the Chinese Deputy Director of the Confucius Institute at Oxford Brookes University. Prior to the current position, she has been working for the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press for 12 years, mainly in the section of Chinese language teaching, which enhances her view of Chinese culture from an international perspective.
