Experimental life drawing

Life Drawing For Your Portfolio

Extend your drawing skills and add to your creative portfolio with this 3 day Life Drawing course.

This course is a wonderful opportunity for prospective art students or anyone looking to improve their life drawing and observational skills, whilst building their portfolio.

Whether you just love life drawing, are intending to apply to an Art & Design course or are starting your Foundation course in September, drawing is fundamental to Art & Design and good drawing skills are strongly recommended. This course will teach you the core principles of how to draw the figure accurately, and introduce you to more experimental techniques using a range of media and approaches.

During the course you will produce a body of work; drawing Male & Female models, nude and clothed in short and extended poses. Through the low student to staff ratio you will be provided with advice and instruction on how to extend existing drawing skills, techniques and styles in order to demonstrate an understanding and awareness of the importance of drawing within your practice and enhance your portfolio.
