Invitation to artists to feature work in PopArt Gallery LDN

Two Brookes alumni, Samantha Ball (Fine Art 2014) and Karel Kingsley (Law with Sociology 2015), have joined forces to launch PopArt Gallery LDN, this summer.

The idea of PopArt is to create a platform in which emerging artists can come together and exhibit their work in a group exhibition in a different location and with different works across London. PopArt expands artists’ networks and introduces them to an audience they would not normally reach with current peers and neighbourhoods.

Karel and Sam contact artists through social media and friends and introduce them to the idea of PopArt exhibition dates and prices. They work with each artist to select pieces for the show.

PopArt is currently seeking artists to exhibit with them on the evening of 12 July 2016 at 31a Corsham rd, N1 6DR and also for future exhibitions. In particular they are looking for more conceptual artists to contribute 2D and 3D work.

Exhibiting is priced at £40 per exhibition and included in this price is publishing artist and artwork information on their website and social media and extending the artist and buyer network on the evening.

Karel and Sam plan for PopArt LDN to be London’s most prominent popup gallery.
